Internship with GJS EMEA Office in London
Global Justice Solutions (EMEA) - an international consultancy and project management firm specialising in police, security and justice sectors - is looking for an intern to provide support and take part in the full range of projects it delivers. This is an ideal opportunity to gain first-hand experience in the management of international projects in the Justice sector.
Description of Duties:
- - Identify, and evaluate potential work in the police, security, cross border and justice sector funded by all bi lateral and multi lateral donors;
- - Identify and evaluate national NGOs and potential implementation partners;
- - Develop processes and systems for managing and sharing the knowledge produced by these activities;
- - Review GJS consultant database and finalize a selection of the consultants suitable/available for contracts funded by EMEA Donors;
- - Assist GJS corporate staff on tendering and/or recruitment processes for existing or potential opportunities.
Applicants must be currently enrolled in their final year of university or must have a degree. Previous experience and knowledge of French is an advantage.
Anticipated length of internship: Six months (July - Dec 2009)
