Cambodia Criminal Justice Assistance Program (Phase III)

The Cambodia Criminal Justice Assistance Project Phase III is a design and implement project spanning the community and criminal justice sector of Cambodia. The project is a five year undertaking to enhance the administration of justice in Cambodia, based upon a concept of flexible annual plans which operate within the parameters of a single strategic design framework. Phase III builds upon an earlier Phase II (US$14 million - also implemented by Global Justice Solutions) and spans the institutions of police, courts and prisons. In particular CCJAP III will be expanding its development services into a number of new provinces as the current 5 year phase unfolds. The work commenced in Phase III with crime prevention and community safety will be a spearhead activity that helps community to improve their access to Government legal and judicial services.

Juvenile justice, women and disadvantaged groups along with anti-corruption as the primary focus areas for the current Project.

In addition to having taken a leadership role in the design of the project, Global Justice Solutions provides wide-ranging technical guidance, and overarching leadership, management and administration of the entire project.
