 Alan McCagh  

Alan McCagh

Chief Operating Officer

Alan is the Chief Operating Officer and has management oversight of operations including multi-million dollar, law and justice sector capacity building projects across some 16 countries.  His professional experience extends from 25 years of policing to executive level to the design, implementation and management and oversight of GoA bilateral/multilateral law and justice sector programs. In addition to his project management responsibilities, Alan's roles have included: law and justice sector scoping missions; operational and legislative reviews for partner government agencies; delivery of specialist technical training to international police forces; facilitation and development of indigenous justice agreements and community safety programs; and the technical direction, monitoring and evaluation of capacity building projects for development partners.

Sandra Tindale-Lam

Operations Manager

Sandra is a registered Psychologist with extensive expertise in corporate management in both public and private sector agencies including the Western Australia Police Service, Australian Defence Force, Alcoa World Alumina, and IBM. Her expertise include: operations management, the conduct of management reviews; corporate planning; organisational change; the application of cultural and climate evaluations for organisational development purposes; and human capital management. Sandra has extensive international development work experience across the Asia Pacific Regions spanning some 13 countries. She has been responsible for the development of sustainable capacity in the area of: human resource management; executive development; welfare; and other corporate service activities in the justice sector.

Bryn Jones

Senior Program Manager

 Bryn Jones has a wealth of practical experience having served in the Western Australia Police for 25 years. As a Senior Program manager Bryn is now applying his significant managerial experience supported by his academic qualifications to effectively manage projects and programs within the Pacific, Africa and Timor-Leste. He has global accredited technical and tertiary qualifications in training and assessment systems, forensic investigation and police management and has a Masters in Project Management and Post Graduate Diploma in Forensic Science.  Bryn worked on the 2002 Bali Bombings investigations and was awarded the Humanitarian Overseas Service Medal (Indian Ocean Clasp) for his role as International Disaster Victim Identification Site Commander in Thailand following the 2004 tsunami.  Bryn has international development experience in 15 countries and was influential in building the forensic capacity of Pacific Island Nations as part of the Pacific Regional Policing Initiative and Pacific Police Development Program.

Shelagh Pepper

Business Development Manager

Shelagh has extensive business development experience and is responsible for managing the business development opportunities and proposals. Shelagh has a as Masters in Development Studies from Melbourne University, her 2005 thesis on the role of legal reform as an instrument for development was awarded high distinction. In 2005 and 2006 she was management director of the Indonesia Australia Legal Development Facility that provided a five year program of support to the Indonesian Supreme Court. During this period she was also management director of the Australian Asean Economic Policy Research Facility.  This facility provided research to underpin economic policy development by the Asean Secretariat and its member countries.
