Global Justice Solutions is a proud sponsor of a series of yacht races run by the Dunsborough Bay Yacht Club in Western Australia.
Dunsborough Bay Yacht Club has been operating as an incorporated Club since 2000. Competitive and recreational sailing has been conducted, in the Dunsborough locality of Geographe Bay, since 2002. The Club fosters learning and competition in the international sport of small boat sailing. It has a fleet of GP 14 yachts that race alternate Sundays, from September to April during the sailing season.
Global Justice Solutions donates and sponsors the DBYC Annual Trophy which has recently been renamed the "Global Justice Solutions Trophy". The GJS trophy is awarded to the winner of a series of four races conducted over four separate race days. GJS also sponsors the ‘Most Improved Sailor Award' which is awarded each year to the skipper or crew deemed by the management committee to have shown a dedication to improvement of their sailing skills for the whole sailing season. With the exception of the 2006-07 Winner, all other recipients of the award have been junior members, ranging in age from eight years of age through to teenagers.
At the 2007-08 Annual Presentation Dinner night the GJS Trophy was awarded to the "Aeolus III" for the second time and a voucher for the most improved sailor was to 10 year old Morgan Flower.
